The Rockin’ Recons, the Lewiston-Auburn-based band that specializes in rock ‘n’ roll from the ’50s to the ’80s, are returning to the stage starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Poland Spring Resort.

Known for playing danceable favorites from the rock ‘n’ roll era, the popular, versatile band plays all across Maine after forming more than 50 years ago during the Pal Hop days.
