AUGUSTA — The Downeast Brass Quintet will present a concert of Maine themed songs in the Community Meeting Room at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at the Lithgow Public Library, 45 Winthrop St. in Augusta.
The band is comprised of five experienced musicians from southern and central Maine who enjoy playing a wide range of styles, from classical to Dixieland, and from parades to wedding ceremonies. As music educators, they seek to reach audiences of all ages with original and entertaining programming.
This event is free and open to all.
