The Maine Department of Labor’s CareerCenters are offering a variety of workshops and hiring events this month.

The first of three virtual workshops, Navigating Hiring Process for Individuals with a Criminal History, is scheduled for 1-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6. To register, visit

Facilitators will go over the fundamentals of a good resume/cover letter and show how to translate and transfer one’s military experience.
