Luke Concannon, a folk singer songwriter with exquisite harmonies, will deliver an evening of original music at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, at the Denmark Arts Center.

The superstar Ed Sheeran, who’s last tour broke all records says, “Luke is one of my three main heroes along with Van Morisson.”

Concannon has early memories of falling asleep at Irish family parties to the sound of guitars, singing, and dancing. The No. 1 UK chart artist is renowned for his magnetic live performances and “direct-from-the-heart” songs.

“His humanizing songs, way of drawing in the whole room and activist love are so needed in our world today,” according to Alastair McIntosh, writer, academic and activist. “Concannon dazzles …. folk music with a little extra something,” says Dancing about Architecture.

Concannon now resides on Abenaki land in Vermont with his wife Stephanie, wonderful neighbors, and fifteen chickens.
