The League of Women Voters of Maine has launched its online voter database Vote411.org. The tool allows users to bring up personalized voter information, including everything that will appear on their local ballot.
Users also learn how to register and vote, read candidate questionnaires, and check out nonpartisan descriptions of ballot initiatives. Vote411.org always covers federal, state, and local elections for every town in Maine, making it a unique resource, according to a news release from Jen Lancaster with the Portland-based league.
“No other voter guide is this inclusive or comprehensive. It helps voters find quick election information that they actually need so that they can make confident and informed choices on election day,” said Anna Kellar, executive director of the League of Women Voters of Maine.
