Kandi Carrier

RUMFORD – Kandi Carrier, 38, died as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was a resident of Fontaine Avenue in Rumford.

Born in Rumford, on May 24, 1985, she was the daughter of Susan Hayes. She graduated from Mountain Valley High School, class of 2004 and worked as a shift leader at Hannaford.

Kandi married Matthew Carrier on Sept. 4, 2010, and together they were raising two beautiful children. Kandi loved fishing and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include her husband Matthew Carrier, son Lee Carrier, daughter Lillee Carrier, brothers, Josh Hayes of Rumford and Jason Lee of Canton, Sisters, Mandy Thibodeau of Dixfield, Chelsea Belskis of Rumford, maternal grandmother Sylvia Hayes of Mexico. She was predeceased by her mother Susan Hayes, grandfather Robert Hayes, Sr., an aunt, Anna Thurston and cousin Jeff Thurston.
