CMCC 4, SMCC 0: Jeremiah Gomez scored two second-half goals as the Mustangs (9-1-1, 6-0 YSCC) pulled away from the SeaWolves (9-2-1, 6-1 YSCC) in Auburn.
Ordi Bimvy broke through late in the first half to put Central Maine Community College up 1-0.
Gomez scored his first goal off an assist from Lewiston graduate Ivan Domingues early in the second half. David Nzuzi made it 3-0 with just under 32 minutes left, and Gomez scored again with 14 minutes left.
COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY
THOMAS 11, UMF 0: Former area standouts Molly Littlefield and Eva-Marie Stevens helped the Terriers (8-6, 1-0 NAC) dispatch the Beavers (1-11, 1-3) in Waterville.
Littlefield, who played at Oxford Hills, and Stevens, a former Mt. Blue player, each scored a goal for Thomas. Grace Slenker and Julia Reny paced the Terriers with three goals apiece, while Avery Herrick scored two.
