Pine Tree Power is a grassroots coalition with members from Fort Kent to Kittery. The group is working to establish a utility that is owned and run by Mainers, for Mainers. Proponents of Pine Tree Power are asking Mainers to vote “yes” on Question 3 in November to replace Central Maine Power and Versant, both owned by foreign companies, with Pine Tree Power to bring back local control, save money and reduce outages, according to a news release from the Rev. Fayre Stephenson.

For more information, call Stephenson at 207-743-2828.
