Anna Hebert

PERU – Anna Hebert, 87, died Wednesday Oct. 4, 2023, due to complications from dementia, at her residence on the Dickvale Road in Peru with her four daughters by her side.

Anna was born in Rumford, on October 21, 1935, the daughter of Elmer and Iva (Andrews) Child. She was a graduate of Dixfield High School. She enjoyed fishing, camping, baking, gardening, and walking.

She was married in Rumford, on July 26, 1953, to Harold J. “Blackie” Hebert who died in West Paris, on April 27, 2015.

Survivors include her brother, Robert Child of Turner; Daughters, Louanne Lewit of Peru, Pam Daigle and husband Gary of Rumford, Wendy Hebert and companion John Mcpherson, of Rumford Point, and Melissa Dupuis and her husband David of Rumford; Grandchildren Jeremy Jonathan, Jared, Aimee, Kelly, Adam and Lynsie; Great grandchildren Henry, Annabelle, Kelsie, Jacob, Madison, Taylor, Tanner, Isabella and Colton.

Anna was predeceased by her Mother, Father and seven siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church, 126 Maine Ave, Rumford, ME. Interment will be in St John Cemetery in Rumford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St Rumford, ME.
