Florence C. Pelletier

LEWISTON – Florence C. Pelletier, 96, of Lewiston, died peacefully on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023.

She was born in Fort Kent, Maine on April 12, 1927, the daughter of Cyprien and Aurore (Long) Pelletier.

Florence was a devoted Mother “Mem” and great grandmother. Family was the most important part of her life.

She enjoyed wintering in Florida. She was an excellent seamstress and was a wonderful cook. She also enjoyed line dancing.

She is survived by three sons Gerard Pelletier Jr., of Auburn, Gary Pelletier and his wife Joline of Litchfield and John Pelletier and his wife Heidi of Greene; one daughter Geraldine Poulin and her husband Paul of Auburn; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Gerard Pelletier Sr.; and two daughters Joyce Croteau and Gail Brabrant.

A Memorial Mass honoring Florence’s life will be celebrated on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 11 a.m., at Holy Cross Church. Committal services will then follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday October 19, 2023 from 4-8 p.m., at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston, 784-4023.
