PORTLAND — The Salvation Army Northern New England Division has appointed Tom Fogarty as director of advancement.
The Auburn resident, a nonprofit and foundation leader with over 25 years of experience, has held key resource development positions at leading educational institutions throughout the United States and at two of Maine’s largest health care systems, according to a Salvation Army news release.
He has a significant track record in advancement programs, overseeing annual and capital campaigns, planned giving initiatives, board development, donor-centric stewardship programs, and community engagement efforts. He played a pivotal role in the successful completion of the Mercy at the Fore Campaign for Mercy’s hospital on Portland’s Fore River.
