George Robert Chomas

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – George Robert Chomas, 84, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died after a long battle with COPD on Oct. 15, 2023.

George was born in Lewiston, 1939, to Helen and Frank Chomas. George attended Kents Hill School before going to work for the family business. He later worked as a Hearing Aid Specialist until he retired in Scottsdale, Ariz.

George is survived by his daughters Mary Chomas (Kerry Thomason) of Poland, and Thea Chomas Nelson (Stephen) of Scarborough; their mother, Georgia Chomas; and grandchildren, Christopher Frank Nelson, and Sophia Maria Nelson.

Services will be private at the family’s request.
