RAYMOND — Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Boyhood Home, 40 Hawthorne Road, is scheduled to host a free, B.Y.O.B. Haunted Hawthorne House Halloween Party at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.

Guests can don their favorite scary or silly Halloween costume and join in the festivities, which will include music, food, contests and prizes.

Reservations are preferred, but walk-ins also are welcome. Voluntary donations for the repair and preservation of the home will be accepted, but are not mandatory.
