PARIS — The Foster Carroll American Legion Post 72 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9787 in South Paris are asking the community to participate in the ever-growing archive of local servicemen and veterans. Whether you are a veteran, are descended from a colonial wars militiaman or are the grandparent of an active-duty soldier or sailor, please consider adding to this history project.

Participants are representatives from all U.S. armed services, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Merchant Marines.

Photographs, tintypes, newspaper pictures or illustrations can be mailed to or dropped off to Sarah Glynn with Oxford Hills Law at 197 Park St, Paris, ME 04281. There is a drop-box for after-hours access. Please be sure to include information about picking up or having the image returned. Or email a .jpg image to sarah@oxfordhillslaw.com.

Please include their name, rank, service and years of service.
