Monday will be chilly with widespread rain for most areas. Highs will only be in the mid 40s for most.
In the mountains and into northern Maine, precip. will fall as snow with several inches likely.
A winter weather advisory is in place until 4 p.m. Monday.
Skies clear out overnight Monday night, and sunny skies are in store for Halloween.
Highs will be cool, in the 40s. Temperatures will drop into the 30s for trick or treating in the evening.
Tuesday night will be quite chilly, with 20s to around 30 degrees for overnight lows.
We remain cool on Wednesday with partly cloudy skies.
A storm system will be passing by close to the south, and while it will be a mostly dry day, a few flurries or sprinkles are possible- especially Wednesday morning.
Thursday, we return to quiet weather and sunshine with highs in the 40s.
A gradual warmup arrives on Friday with highs back in the low 50s. Dry, quiet and warm weather should continue through the weekend.
