The Androscoggin Retired Educators’ Association plans to meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Sixth Street Congregational Church, 109 Sixth St. in Auburn.
Barry Lawson from Bates College will speak on artificial intelligence, according to a news release from Elizabeth Bell with the association.
Lunch will be served by ladies of the church. The cost of the meal is $12. Send reservations to Gina Fuller, 36 Elliott Ave., Lewiston, ME 04240.
The association meets five times per year: September, October, November, March and April. Dues for the year are $10 for educator and $6 for non-educator spouse or partner.
Members 85 or older no longer need to pay dues. One need not have taught in Androscoggin County or even in Maine. All educators are welcome.
