Auditions for the upcoming production of “And Then There Were None” will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Community Little Theatre in Auburn.
Ten strangers are summoned to a remote island. All that the guests have in common is a wicked past they’re unwilling to reveal and a secret that will seal their fate. For each has been marked for murder. Agatha Christie herself described this play as her best piece of craftsmanship.
Anyone who wishes to audition is asked to fill out the online audition form before Nov. 10 and to include on the form (or bring to auditions) a list of all possible schedule conflicts. Rehearsals will begin Monday, Nov. 20. Each person auditioning will be asked to prepare a monologue from the show (these will be posted ahead of time on the CLT audition page) and to read from the script. All audition details and character descriptions can be found online at laclt.com/auditions.
The performance dates will be at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 19, 20, 25, 26; and at 2 p.m. on Jan. 21, 27, 28.
Community Little Theatre is located at 30 Academy St., Auburn. A volunteer, non-profit organization, CLT has produced live theatre since 1940 with the goal to provide affordable and quality entertainment in the performing arts as well as education, training, and experience in theatre for area youth.
