Theodore “Ted” E. Therrien

CANTON – Theodore “Ted” E. Therrien, 82, of Canton, passed away on Nov. 1, 2023. He was born on April 23, 1941, the son of the late Reney and Arie (Shaw) Therrien.

He attended school in Jay and graduated with the class of 1960. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was an avid CB and HAM radio operator, enjoying his conversations with others from all over the world. He was a devoted collector and connoisseur of cherished items. He was a man of impeccable taste and unwavering appreciation for the beauty and significance found in every artifact he encountered.

He is survived by his daughters Sherri (Rick) Couture and Leigh (Kevin) Plummer; and their mother, Patricia Kilkenney all of Jay; brother, Gerald Therrien and Patricia Irving of Avon Park, Fla., sisters Helen Pomerleau (Norman) of Jay and Nanci (Wilson) Weed of Hartford and Zephyrhills, Fla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ted is also survived by his two, special best friends, Jeff Payeur of Canton and Ralph Ryder of Livermore.
