OXFORD — Anderson-Staples American Legion Post 112 will be having a Flag Retirement Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, at the post on 169 Main St. Burning torn or tattered flags is the proper means of disposal.

Flags can be dropped off that day or deposited in the old mail container outside the post door; visitors are welcome.
