SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford County Wellness Collaborative plans to host its fall gathering from 4:30-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the community room of the Paris Fire Department at 137 Western Ave.

The event follows a spring gathering that focused on youth mental health as a pressing issue. It will bring together several representatives from local youth-serving programs and organizations that will share their important work and opportunities to help support local young people, according to a news release from Brenda Schauffler, collaborative network facilitator.

The collaborative invites the public to attend. The meeting will feature a free meal and onsite childcare will be provided. Transportation assistance also is also available.

At previous gatherings of the collaborative, caring adults have shown an interest in stepping up to help young people, and a desire to know where and how they can begin. The Nov. meeting is focused squarely on addressing that concern.

The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to register by contacting Schauffler at 207-744-6191 or brendan.schauffler@mainehealth.org.

Interested persons also can visit the Oxford County Wellness Collaborative’s Facebook page.
