GREENWOOD — Jackson-Silver Post 68 at 595 Gore Road will hold a Veterans Day Commemoration on Saturday, Nov. 11.  Doors open at 9:30 a.m. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Commander Harry G. Orcutt said the public is invited, “to observe and to remember the services to the nation of their community and next of kin.  It is an opportunity to pass on to succeeding generations, especially school age children, the patriotic tradition of sacrifice that is necessary to preserve our lives, liberty, pursuit of happiness.”
