AUBURN – Jean P. Titus, 95, of North Auburn, passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2023, with loving family by her side.
She was born on Sept. 7, 1928, a daughter to John and Helen (Hopkins) Perry. She was born in Franklin, New Hampshire and attended New Hampshire schools. As a young adult, she moved to Maine where she met her future husband Leslie Titus. The two were married on July 12, 1951. She started her family in 1954 with the birth of her two twins, followed by the birth of her son four years later.
Jean was first and foremost a homemaker, while also maintaining the books for the family oil business. She was also a volunteer for Girl Scouts, 4-H and often taught Sunday School. Jean was a selfless, kind and gentle soul who always put everyone before herself, especially her husband and family.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, her husband Leslie and several siblings.
She leaves behind her children Nancy, Patricia and James and wife Jeanne. She also leaves behind two brothers, as well as many nieces and nephews; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren with whom she loved spending time with.
Visitation will be held at The Fortin Group Funeral Home in Auburn on Friday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by an in house Memorial Service at 12 p.m. with Committal Prayers at North Auburn Cemetery.
