Franklin County Animal Shelter, 550 Industry Road, Farmington, is a non-profit animal shelter focused on providing temporary care and shelter to stray, homeless, and abandoned animals within our community. The shelter is a no-kill shelter, which means animals are never euthanized due to a lack of space.
The lobby, kitten, and available adult cat rooms are open to the public Monday to Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. They are performing dog adoptions by appointment. Meet Bee, a Capricorn female nicknamed Bumbles. She is one to three years old and likes high places, calm places and bugs.
Bee does not like when other cats are mean to bugs. She prefers to remain in the background as she doesn’t like being noticed and she dislikes when there is a lack of bugs.

Chimney Sweep, is a one to three year old female, with the nickname Chimiminey and is a Libra
She likes clean chimneys, high places and hidey holes. She does not like being noticed, talking to strangers and Evanescence.
