I’ll be casting my vote for Carl Sheline in Lewiston’s mayoral runoff, and I encourage others to as well.

Mayor Sheline has done much more than just his job for the past two years. A staunch advocate for our city as Lewiston’s “head cheerleader,” he has worn through a couple thousand miles of shoe leather to be present in our community when it mattered. And it always matters to Carl.

Whether it’s a young person’s first lemonade stand, an opening ceremony, a dedication, recognizing staff, promoting business and the arts, bringing attention to our professional, community and high school sports teams, or somber events that challenge our community, Carl is always there as a steady and earnest presence, promoting the promise and potential of Lewiston.

Mayor Sheline is invested in Lewiston’s present and future. He sees a proud and enduring city whose best days are ahead of us; I agree.
