Nadeau, a woman of grace and tenderness, graced our world with her presence for 79 remarkable years. Born on a spring day, April 14, 1944, in the heart of Lewiston, she blossomed like a delicate yellow rose, nurtured by the love of her parents, Edward and Ida Gervais.

Clemence, known to her cherished circle as a loving wife, mother, and friend, wove threads of devotion and compassion into the tapestry of her existence. Her spirit radiated warmth and kindness, like a soft embrace on a winter’s night. She embodied the essence of love, her heart a sanctuary of affection and understanding.

In the embrace of her enduring love, Clemence leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years, Lucien Nadeau Jr., a steadfast companion whose heart echoes with memories of shared joys and whispered dreams. Joye Dostie, her daughter, and Alan Nadeau, her son, bear the legacy of her nurturing spirit, forever carrying her love in their hearts. Susan Nadeau, her daughter-in-law, became a cherished member of their tight-knit family, her presence adding new colors to the tapestry of their lives.

Clemence’s journey was intertwined with the lives of those she held dear. In the tapestry of her existence, she cherished her brother, Curly Gervais, a bond unbreakable like the strongest of threads. Sisters-in-law Sandra McGill, Louise Nadeau, and Lucy Gervais adorned her life with friendship, laughter and shared memories. Edward Nadeau, her brother-in-law, shared in her joys and sorrows, a pillar of strength in times of need.
