BETHEL — The Telstar Middle School JV girl’s basketball team opened up its season with a win at Telstar 20 to 14 over Dirigo. Lucy DeCato led the rebels with 12 points. Meredith Lapoint played a great defense game, shutting down Dirigo’s best ball-handler. Also scoring for Telstar were Hope Heath, Jozzy Robinson, Addy Mosher, and Meredith Lapoint with a basket each.
The Telstar Middle School Girls’ JV Basketball team played its second game of the season at Telstar with a 31-15 loss to Buckfield. Meredith Lapointe led the rebels with 8 points, while Lucy DeCato, Amelia Kirkey, and Elsa Parker had a basket each. The JV Rebels are 1/1 in the season.
The Telstar middle school girls JV basketball team beat mountain valley 35-11 for the second win of the season against one loss. Nine players scored Kaillie Buck and Elsa Parker 6 pts, Lucy Derato 5 pts, Addy Mosher, Sionna Herling and Jozzy Robinson 4pts, Meredith Lapotin, Hope Heath, And Alyssa Hulzhinsol 2 pts.
