The Sabattus Rec Running Club plans to hold its annual Jingle Jog at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, starting at the town’s mini mall on Sabattus Road.

The free jog/walk event aims to spread cheer through the Sabattus Village area, as participants wear festive clothing, lights, and maybe some bells on local streets, according to a news release from Jon Mennealy with the club.

Joggers and walkers will go out for 30-45 minutes, and then return for light refreshments and see if Santa stopped by while they were out.
