Pauline C. Begin

LEWISTON – Pauline C. Begin, formerly of 4 Raymond Ave. in Lewiston, died at the age of 86 on Dec. 2, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She had been a resident of St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion for two and a half years.

Pauline was born on March 2, 1937, in Lewiston, to Joseph and Marie Ann (Montreuil) Couture. She attended St. Louis School and graduated from St. Dominic’s High School in 1955.

In 1956, she married the love of her life, Normand Begin, and their deep bond lasted until his passing in 2020. Pauline was a dedicated employee of Pioneer Plastics for many years, eventually retiring from the company.

Pauline is survived by her sister-in-law, Maggie Gagnon and her husband, George, brothers-in-law Gil Begin and wife, Rita, Ray Samson and wife, Claudette; and many nieces, nephews; and cousins.
