RUMFORD – Eileen Bielskis, 85, passed away at her residence on Dec. 11, 2023.

Born in Rumford, on Aug. 3, 1938, she was the daughter of William and Mary (Curley) Goodwin.  She was a graduate of Stephens High School and Pelletier’s Beauty School in Lewiston.  She was a self-employed hairdresser and also worked at the Maine National Bank.

Eileen married Joseph Bielskis and together raised a wonderful family.

Survivors include husband, Joseph Bielskis, two daughters, Maureen Arsenault and husband David of Rumford, Joleen Bedard and husband Glenn of Turner; grandchildren, Brian Bedard and wife Dr. Mariah Treadwell of Sandy, Utah, William Bedard of Turner, and Kylie Leavitt of Lewiston; three sisters, Viola LeBlanc of Massachusetts, Patricia Bartholemew of Massachusetts and Barbara Gauvin of Alfred.
