Robert Douglas Milledge

RUMFORD – Robert Douglas Milledge of Rumford passed away on Dec. 18, 2023, after an illness which he fought bravely.

Robert was born on Aug. 1, 1942, in Rumford, he was the son of Fredrick and Myrtle (Knauer). He was one of four children. His brother John is only survivor. He was predeceased by his brother Freddie and sister Patty.

Bob graduated from Mexico High School he played football and was co-captain his senior year. He was self-employed as an oil furnace repair man for year and then as a millwright in construction.

Bob was a great fan of the Red Sox and New England Patriots. He was a happy-go-lucky guy with a great personality.

He leaves behind his wife Jolene (Galarneau), sons, Michael and wife Laurie, Stephen and wife Tammy, grandchildren, Sarah, Alex and Tyler.
