Janice Lashua hangs candy canes Saturday on the city of Lewiston Christmas tree at Dufresne Plaza. Lashua is homeless and spends a lot of time next to the tree. “It does not feel like Christmas, so I am trying to stay in the spirit.” Lashua hung candy canes on the low branches for small children to pick from. “The ones up high are for the teenagers.” Daryn Slover/Sun Journal
