AUBURN — A Lewiston man faces four felony charges stemming from what police said was an attempt to force himself into a woman’s car on Main Street in Lewiston in October.

Christopher Michael Good, 57, was indicted Wednesday by an Androscoggin County grand jury on a charge of robbery, a crime punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
Good also was charged with attempted gross sexual assault, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
He also faces two charges of criminal threatening, each charge punishable by up to five years in prison.
Misdemeanor charges include two counts of indecent conduct, each carrying a maximum penalty of 364 days in jail.
Police said Good exposed himself to several people on Main Street on the afternoon of Oct. 4 before he attempted to force his way into a woman’s car as he exposed himself and made lewd remarks to her.
The woman was able to escape uninjured, police said.
Police said his alleged conduct wasn’t new for him.
In 2021, Good was arrested in Augusta after he reportedly assaulted a woman who was giving him a ride on Mount Vernon Avenue in that city. During that attack, Good was getting a ride home from a 39-year-old Augusta woman when he attempted “to take advantage of her in a sexual manner,” police said.
Good grabbed the woman, punched her, grabbed her in a sexual manner and threatened to rape her, according to court records. He then tried to crash the vehicle, according to Augusta police.
Good is being held without bail at the Androscoggin County Jail pending a probation violation hearing in Augusta. His bail on the newer charges was set at $25,000 cash.
