
LISBON — Police are investigating a robbery reported Tuesday night at the Rusty Lantern Market in Lisbon Falls village.
The Police Department responded to a report at 6:30 p.m. of a robbery at 689 Lisbon St., according to a statement by Police Chief Ryan A. McGee.
The store clerk told police that a man demanded employees turn over the money and then fled with an undisclosed amount. The suspect did not show a weapon, according to the statement.
No injuries were reported.
The white male is described as a 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a camo jacket, cloth over his face and dark-colored pants, according to the statement. He fled on a light-colored bike with a distinctive brown seat.
The Androscoggin Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search.
The Police Department asks anyone who has video cameras in the Lisbon Falls area to review them for any information related to this incident. Anyone with information about the robbery, may contact Detective Christopher Sibley at 207-353-2500, ext. 1.
