Harry P. Arnold

AUBURN – Harry P. Arnold, 82, of Auburn passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023. He was born on Sept. 10, 1941, in Lewiston at CMMC the son of Philip T and Evelyn (Fogg) Arnold. He attended and graduated from Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School.

Harry married the love of his life on May 27, 1966, and they began to raise their family. He was an Army veteran serving his country from 1961 until 1964 and obtaining rank of PFC E-3 and worked as a Journeyman Electrician for Hamilton and Roy Snow before his retirement. Harry was assistant scout master for his son’s Boy Scout Troop 137 while his son Shawn earned his wood badge.

Harry is survived by his wife Dora A. Arnold and son Shawn M Arnold, sisters Grace Blais, Judith a Crooker, brother Philip T. Arnold, sister in law Lillian Arnold and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Philip and Evelyn; his daughter Wendi Lou Arnold; his siblings Norma Lois Arnold, Laurice Mae Cote, Raymond Cote and Robert A Blais.

The family invites you to a time of visitation at The Fortin Group Funeral Home, 217 Turner St, AUBURN on Monday January 8, from 1-2 p.m., immediately followed by a funeral service and Military Honors at 2 p.m. Committal services will be private.
