Raymond “Blackie” Doustou

LEWISTON – Heaven has gained a very special angel. Raymond “Blackie” Doustou passed away on Jan. 9, 2024 in Lewiston.

Ray was born on June 16, 1939 to Onesime Doustou and Sara Soucy.

He was an avid sportsman who loved to fish and hunt. Spending time with his fishing buddies at Moosehead Lake was one of his favorite pastimes.

Ray retired from Philips Elmet after 30 years of service. He was also a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles #618 in Lewiston.

Ray is survived by his ex-wife and good friend, Gloria Bedard; granddaughters, Jennifer (Doustou) and her husband Timothy Pike, Missy Lessard; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Ray was predeceased by his son, Randy Doustou, his daughter, Penny (Doustou) Lessard; and granddaughter, Jessica Lessard.

There will be no visiting hours.
