Bates College women’s basketball sophomore Elsa Daulerio was named the Player of the Week by the New England Small College Athletic Conference on Monday.

The Bobcats’ standout center scored double-digit points in each of Bates’ three games over the past week — all wins.

The Harpswell native and Mt. Ararat graduate notched a double-double in Bates’ win over Rivier last Monday, tallying 10 points and a season-high 12 rebounds. She followed that up with a stat-stuffing 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a Friday win over Hamilton. Then she finished her week up with a game-high 19 points to go along with eight rebounds in the Bobcats’ win over then-No. 16 nationally ranked Amherst on Saturday.

UMF 47, PLYMOUTH ST. 46: Jessica Dow’s free throw with 3.7 seconds left was the difference as the Beavers (5-10) edged the Panthers (7-7) in Farmington on Monday.

University of Maine at Farmington trailed after each quarter, holding deficits of 10-5 after one quarter, 30-23 at halftime and 37-34 heading into the fourth. The Beavers were able to rally and take a 46-42 lead in the final minute before Plymouth State University tied the game back up on a Bri Wilcox layup with 12 seconds left.

Dow finished with a game-high 18 points, and Melissa Mayo was the Beavers’ second-leading scorer with 10. Sarah Poli pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds.

Ashley Stephens paced the Panthers with 13 points, Lea Crompton scored 10 and Wilcox finished with nine.
