NORWAY — The Healing After Loss grief support group at The Table plans to start its next group on Thursday, Jan. 25, at The Table, 160 Main St.

The group, for anyone who is struggling with grief over a loss of any kind, meets at 2 p.m. There will be six sessions meeting weekly every Thursday.

The group can learn about grief and the process of healing from a loss with guided discussions and open sharing. These meetings will be confidential.

The group is facilitated by Joan Spitzform, a professional bereavement counselor with over nine years of experience leading grief support groups at Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice.

Spitzform, who also has served as a level 1 on-call chaplain at Stephens Memorial Hospital, has been holding the groups at The Table since last spring.

Arrangements will be worked out for anyone who comes after the sessions have begun. All welcome; there is no charge.

To sign up for the Jan. 25 group or for more information, email Spitzform at jspitzform@roadrunner.com or The Table at thetable160@gmail.com.
