Cole Taylor, right, contemplates his next move Sunday at a Warhammer 40k tournament at D&D’s Gaming and Hobbies at 120 Center St. — the Center Street Plaza — in Auburn, as Matt Barkey, left, Neil Nolette and store owner Doug Hanrion watch. The event has brought out 20 tabletop gaming enthusiasts with varying levels of experience to play two three-hour rounds, in which players attempt different missions for points. Hanrion says he opened the store three months ago with friend Dan Iannotti to cater to tabletop gamers who need a place to play with game pieces they already own. The store also hosts Dungeons & Dragons games and Magic: The Gathering card games. Everyone is welcome at the store, which also hosts demonstration days and teaching events, according to Hanrion.
