RUMFORD — Dueling Pianos is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at 49 Franklin, 49 Franklin St., local Keith Belanger plans to make a special appearance as one of the feature musicians.

This special performance consists of two grand pianos, two charismatic, and hilarious entertainers behind the keys. Throughout the event the players perform audience requested songs. The pianists sing and battle back and forth with comedic commentary and banter. Many times, requests are for Billy Joel, Bob Segar, or Elton John but you never know what will be requested. No two Dueling Piano shows are ever the same.
Belanger studied piano for 16 years with Gail Dorr of Rumford; he was a voice student at the University of New Hampshire. He has been performing since the age of 7, acting since the age of 14, music directing theater since age 24, and working as a piano cabaret entertainer since 33. He lives in Derry, New Hampshire with his wife Rebecca and their three sons.
Sharing the stage with Belanger will be Amy Thomason of Boston.
Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
