Eric S. Wilkins
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Eric S. Wilkins, 34, a resident of Chesterville, Maine, left us too soon on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, in Los Angeles, Calif. He was born in Sept. 4, 1989, Wurzburg, Germany, the son of Gregory Wilkins and Denise (Poulin) Lefebvre.
He was a graduate of Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Okla. and with his academic achievement earned admittance to and attended University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. When Eric realized earning a college degree was not his current path, he joined the Army. He served in the Army as an Air Defense, Computers and Intelligence Tactical Operation Center Enhanced Operator/Maintainer and enjoyed the camaraderie of military life.
Eric’s hobbies included fishing, fly fishing, soccer, skateboarding, and hiking. He enjoyed traveling and everywhere Eric went he made friends who he treated as extended family. He enjoyed the many nicknames (Aardvark, Sherwin, Rice) he earned in his different circles and cycles of life. In Eric’s own words, “lets enjoy each other as I do you, care, love, give respect, and learn from each other because life is short on this earth.”
