We know how it is. You’re riding in the car and a certain song comes on the radio. “This is OUR song!” your wife, husband, girlfriend or other will squeal. And as long as that song isn’t “Hate Myself for Loving You,” it’s all good. Most couples have a song these days whether it’s a pair of blushing kids at the junior high dancing to Taylor Swift or a pair of octogenarians waltzing in their living room to an oldie.
With Valentine’s Day coming on, we’d like to hear about YOUR couple’s song and how it came to represent your relationship with that special someone. Got photographs of yourselves dancing to that particular song? We’ll take those, too. Send whatever you’ve got to writer Mark LaFlamme at [email protected] or call 200-1481.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
