The Lewiston Public Library has rescheduled its December program featuring Roxie Zwicker to Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Zwicker will present her interactive program, The Lost Art of Tea Leaf Reading Workshop, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Callahan Hall on the third floor of the 200 Lisbon St. library. Participants should bring their own teacup to this free public program.

People can join Maine’s Mystery Maven for Delicious Divination to learn the art of divination by tea leaf reading in this class. The history and lore of this centuries-old fortune-telling technique originated in China and traveled along tea and spice trade routes all over the world.

Attendees can explore the perfect herbs for tea leaf reading, learn how to create specialty blends, and enjoy a cup of custom-made herbal tea to see what symbols and messages their cup reveals to them.

Zwicker has been entertaining people with her unique ghost stories since 1994. Her company, New England Curiosities, located in Portsmouth, N.H., has been offering ghost tours, and special events since 2002 and is consistently on top of the nation’s travel and tourism lists. Featured on “Psychic History” on the History Channel and “Destination America” on the Travel Channel, she is the author of eight bestselling books on New England’s ghost stories and folklore.

Zwicker has been reading professionally for more than 20 years and has been a sought-after speaker and teacher on metaphysical topics for several national conferences and gatherings.
