DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Woman’s Literary Union will hold a Craft De-Stash Bash on Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to  2 p.m. at the Foss Mansion at 19 Elm St. in Auburn.

We’re inviting crafters who want to declutter your stash of surplus craft supplies to sell at this fun event. A 6-foot table and space can be rented for $25. Reserve your space with a ticket from the WLU website at www.womansliteraryunion.org

There is no admission fee or ticket needed for shoppers looking to increase their stash of craft supplies! We will also sell homemade baked goods.

For more information, call Kathy Lawrence at 402-7591.— Kathy, Auburn

ANSWER: It’s so interesting for me to see what everyone is doing for fundraisers. This is another unique idea that sounds so fun!

Check out the WLU’s website to learn more about their mission and the events held at the Foss Mansion throughout the year, including the annual Prom Gown Giveaway, the Spring Doll Tea, and the WLU High Tea.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Thank you for including our event in Sun Spots on Jan. 26. We appreciate your support.

In reviewing the posting I noticed that the address of the event was listed incorrectly. The address for Hiram Lodge 180 should read 39 “E” St. I may have been the victim of spellcheck. We would greatly appreciate it if you could post a correction, in order that we may better serve our Maine veterans’ charities.

Thank you again for your outstanding support–Stephen, no town

ANSWER: The glitch happened on my end and I didn’t catch it. You had “E” St. without the quotation marks around it and good ol’ Microsoft Word made it “East” St. I apologize for that and the event information with the correction is below. I hope it’s fabulous!

Hiram Masonic Lodge 180 AF & AM will host a pancake breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 8-10 a.m. at 39 “E” St. in South Portland. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

The proceeds will benefit the National Sojourners Chapter 92, a Masonic organization that supports Maine military veterans, ROTC and Junior ROTC programs. Information on National Sojourners will be available at the breakfast.
