Lace up your boots and bundle up because Winterpaloozah! is back, bringing a blizzard of excitement to Rangeley. This premier winter event promises a day filled with frosty festivities for families and friends alike, all set against the picturesque backdrop of the Rangeley Lakes Regions Haley Pond and the Town Park. Register for all competitions online at search Winterpaloozah or or at the welcome table outside the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce and Information Center.

Cardboard Sled Racing: Kicking off at 11:00 am with sled judging at 10:30 am near the Pavilion behind the Rangeley Inn, this adrenaline-pumping event will showcase the coolest sled designs on Haley Pond.  Register online or sign-up day of the event for Cardboard Sled Racing only at the Pavilion.

Thrilling Activities on Ice:

Free Skating and Curling: Glide across the frozen Haley Pond with free skating (rent ice skates for free at Rangeley Adventure Co) and try curling. The ice is open for all to enjoy, whether you’re a novice or a pro.

Town Park Extravaganza:

Buoy Ball, Firewood Toss, and Saucer Bowling: Starting at 11 am, the Town Park transforms into a winter wonderland with thrilling events for participants of all ages.


Dog Keg Pull Races: At 1:30 pm, canine athletes will take the spotlight in this unique and entertaining event. Register your furry friend online ($20 registration fee per dog) or at the welcome table outside the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce and Information Center.

On-Going Festivities:

Horse and Carriage Rides: Enjoy a leisurely ride between locations or take in the town’s scenic beauty, with pick-up and drop-off points in front of the Post Office and Rangeley Adventure Company.

Campfire & Marshmallow Roast, Hot Drinks: Keep the winter vibes alive in the Town Park and Haley Pond Park with a cozy campfire, marshmallow roasting, and hot drinks available for purchase.

Don’t forget to grab lunch or a quick snack at one of our local restaurants.

Winterpaloozah! is a free event (excluding the Dog Keg Pull), but your generous donations will be gladly accepted. All proceeds go to the Rangeley Skating Club and the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce, the proud hosts of this snow-filled extravaganza.
