SOUTH PARIS — Oxford County Soil & Water Conservation District plans to start a six-week beginner’s course for woodlot owners at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Oxford Hills High School, 256 Main St.

Merle Ring, retired Maine Forest Service District Forester with 42 years of experience, is the instructor.
