Gary William McAlister Sr.

BUCKFIELD – Gary William McAlister, Sr, 66, passed away on Jan. 26, 2024, at home in Buckfield, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones.

Gary was a proud father of four children, two daughters, Andrea and Nicole, and two sons, Gary and Justin. He is survived by his mother Betty and five siblings, sisters Heidi and Beth, and brothers Mark, Billy, and Dennis. Gary was preceded in death by his father William; and brother Clinton.

Gary graduated from Buckfield High School and enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, hunting & fishing, canoeing, and spending time with his friends, family, children and four grandchildren. Gary spent the majority of his life working in the fields of logging and automotive detailing.

Gary’s presence will be strongly missed, his memories will be treasured and thoughts will never be forgotten. We love you always and forever.
