Wisdom. When I googled definitions and quotes regarding wisdom, there were various responses, most of which did not resonate. The first quote was attributed to Abraham Lincoln, “It’s better to be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt.”

I immediately moved on as that seemed more of a judgment proclamation than wisdom. Although, from the perspective of dear Abe, it may have been wisdom born from experience.

So why was I on this mission to explore the meaning of “wisdom”? It came about because of what seemed to be a coincidence. I had been thinking about the difference between intelligence and wisdom the previous day.

Then, the very next day, my web designer and I were brainstorming about the message I want my website to impart as we envision it as a calling card. She said, “Lil, you impart wisdom, and I think that needs to be the message.”

The discussion went on to look at noteworthy mentors. We couldn’t come up with an agreement on how to portray someone imparting wisdom. I know the issue. I have wisdom, but I have never considered myself as wisdom.

Here is where I am with this. I hope it resonates at best and, at least, sparks curiosity because I believe everyone has wisdom and is wisdom.

Let’s start by defining intelligence vs wisdom. Intelligence uses the process of thinking and is subjective. Most of us use the process of thinking to solve math problems.

Wisdom comes from our inherited experiences in this lifetime and other lifetimes. Consider the process of making bread. Intelligence suggests and translates the method and ingredients, but our experience guides us in adapting the method and ingredients for everyone’s benefit and experience.

From experience, we kneed the dough without thinking consciously of the process. This is an example of aligning to the wisdom of experience.

Who really cares about intelligence vs wisdom? It comes to this idea of conscious alignment. We’re all vibrating energy. Our frequency is our vibration, our consciousness, and only we as individuals have authority over our frequency.

When we claim a certain thing based on inherited wisdom, that settles into our frequency by our authority to allow it, it may be as simple as our name. We claim our name and what it means to us, and this becomes part of our frequency and what we show of ourselves to the world.

When we claim ourselves as wisdom and say, “I am wisdom,” it becomes part of our frequency, allowing us to move into alignment with that part of our frequency that will benefit others. “I am wisdom” is self-awareness. Self-awareness is knowing our worth. Knowing our worth is wisdom. We don’t have wisdom; we are wisdom.

Being a wisdom seeker is a natural process on the ascension path. We can work through obstacles as our consciousness agrees to work through them. We become wisdom when we remember, we have the authority to accept experiences and gain the wisdom we seek.
