RUMFORD —Hotel Rumford remains in 1st place in the Mountain Valley Rec League at 9-2, while 3 teams via for 2nd with 8-3 records, Smart Care PT, Inc, A & G Custom Cabinets and Carpentry and Mt Blue. Clean Cut Painting (5-6) is in 5th place, Jay (4-7) is 6th, Dixfield (2-9) 7th and Stix n Stones (0-11) is last.
Hotel Rumford made easy work of Stix n Stones this past week, 86-55, although the latter showed some encouraging play at times. Tom Danylik was the top scorer for the winners with 31 points, followed by JT Taylor with 20, Bryan Canwell 12 and Owen Jones 11. Cody Dolloff was the leader for S n S with 17 points (5 threes) and was helped by Trey Lane 16 and Jamie Downs 11.
Mt Blue then managed at 83-70 win over a determined Jay team. Cam Sinnick was high man with 23 points, Justin Evens 20, Kindle Bonsall 13, JT Williams and Eric Berry 12 each. Jay’s leader was Zane Armandi with 21 points (4 threes), Logan Sumner 16 (3 threes) and Levi Armandi 10.
In other games, Smart Care got the best of Clean Cut Painting, 87-69. Trenton Hutchinson was the leader with 24 points (6 threes), while Cody St Germain had 23 and Nick St Germain added 17. Will Bean directed Clean Cut with 19 points, supported by Ryan Savage 15 and Pat Connery 13.
Finally, A & G Carpentry defeated Dixfield, 83-56. Malik Farley had 22 points, Hunter Meeks 19 and Kalen Chase 12. Dixfield was led by Dom Haines with 16, Arick Richard 13 and Cam Godbois 10.
