Tammy A. Hutchisen
SOUTH PARIS – Tammy A. Hutchisen, 60, of South Paris, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday Jan. 30, 2024. She was born in Portland on Oct. 7, 1963, the daughter of George and Charlene (Ring) Hutchisen.
She grew up in South Paris summering with family and friends at Littlefield Beaches Campground in Greenwood. She graduated from Oxford Hills High School where she excelled as a cheerleader. Further education included an Associates degree in Civil Engineering from Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute. She later received a BS in Dietetics from University of Connecticut. Much of her working life was in the health industry with her most recent employment at Stephen’s Memorial Hospital in Norway as a licensed dietician.
She had a lovely singing voice that she shared in a variety of church choirs, as well as some part time bands. Her most recent choir was at the First Congregational Church in South Paris, where she also served as the secretary of the church council.
She was predeceased by her father George; and older brother Thomas.
She is survived by her mother Charlene Ring; brothers Timothy and wife Karen Hakala of Norway, Todd and wife Carrie Hoge of Hailey, Idaho; nieces Alison Kimball, Imogen and Sigrid Hoge-Hutchisen.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Funeral Service to honor Tammy at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the First Congregational Church, 17 E Main St in South Paris, ME.
