LEWISTON — The Franco Center is holding a new lunchtime social: Poutine, Pea Soup & Trivia.

The first social is set from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at the 46 Cedar St. center.

“This event is a time for all Franco-Americans and others in the community to come together and socialize,” said Jake Hodgkin, production manager at the Franco Center, according to a news release from the center. “This social will be less structured than our La Rencontre luncheons that typically feature some form of entertainment.”

This trivial social will feature Franco foods such as poutine and pea soup at 11:30 a.m. The menu will vary at times, but will be light.

The trivia will feature questions about the Lewiston and Auburn community.

Parking is in the mill lot on Oxford Street. Handicap access is on the Lincoln St. alley side of the building via an elevator.

The cost is $12 per person and includes the poutine and pea soup; other foods may be available for purchase.

To buy tickets in advance, call the box office at 207-689-2000 or stop in between 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tickets also can be purchased at francocenter.org.
